FUNDRAISING
Gift Aid
Gift Aid is probably the easiest way to provide much needed funds for the Ninth. We can claim 25p in the £1 for termly subscriptions you make for your son, any donations you make to the Ninth's 100 Club and any other donations. Sadly we cannot claim Gift Aid on camp fees.
Do please complete a Gift Aid form if you have not already done so. It means we can claim around £4,000 a year from the Inland Revenue to buy much needed equipment for the Ninth.

100 Club
Information
The Ninth Wimbledon's '100 Club' was set up some 17 years ago in order to establish a regular source of income for all sections of the Group - that is Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. We have some 80 members and need many more to help the Ninth continue to prosper.
The cost of equipment and running expenses of the Group, comprising nearly 200 young people, is not insignificant. The insurance, road tax, servicing and MOT on our minibus alone is over £3,000 a year.
Tents, cooking utensils, Calor Gas stoves - all need replacing from time to time. For example we recently sent all our tents to a specialist firm in Godstone for refurbishment as many of them were in need of repair. The cost of these repairs was £2,500. A few years ago we purchased a new marquee, essential for our outdoor camps, at a cost of £6,500.
How to join
The monthly contribution of £5 by way of a standing order is a very easy way for you to help the Group. Thus, we are not asking you to turn out for jumble sales or car boot sales and you will be helping to secure the future of the Ninth. Also, we are not asking something for nothing.
There is a Prize Draw every quarter with excellent cash prizes of:
1st Prize : £250
2nd Prize : £150
3rd Prize : £100
